Easter is coming quickly! The church is all decked out with new bark, food collection bags have been distributed for a massive fill "Stuff the Truck" challenge, and we are exciting and praying for lives to moved and changed all for the Kingdom. So thankful for a God that is full of grace and mercy--aren't you? So many challenges for everyone this year, health, finances, family ties, employment strugges, relationship struggles, but God promises that he will always be there and will never leave us.

Hebrews 13:5-7

Continue Becoming Word Wise with us this year.....and create a habit, 29 days to create a habit and it will be something you will never leave from. We love you all.

So Vision night was amazing. A little something for everyone tons of fun!

We even watched again. What a challenge. Pastor Wayne, made everything so clear and direct. Just poured into my heart. I haven't been diligent on my daily devotions through 2010. January 1st I decided to do better and get on board, I have done ok, missed 3 days, but this is a first for me and I have to say I am really learning!!

There is so much God has in store for us in the Bible the living breathing word of God.

I hope you all will take the 21 day challenge that Roger challenged everyone to...21 days --daily devotions.

We have women's SOAP group Friday nights at 9pm at Cattins. We are working on adding another time during the week as well.

Partner with a spouse, friend or 2, us....share your SOAPing via emails....whatever it takes to get plugged in.

We are here for you, let us know if you would like to get together and we will meet up!!

Remember Roger's phrase, that is all so true, "Those without wisdom is dumb!"

Days are getting longer.....

Boy...It was nice to leave work the other day and have the daylight, still kind of be out. We have now passed the shortest day of the year and are moving towards the longer days of spring and summer. I know winter is still here with snow in the forcast, but that won't stop us.

We are excited for 2011 and what God has in store for all of you. It has been on our heart to be in the word more as a team and we will begin that soon. We challenge each and every one of you to be in the word daily. Roger said it perfectly this weekend, you don't have to completely understand it, but be in the word, reading the wording, breathing the word....it will make all the difference in your life.

God has challenged Aaron and I with that as well. We have not been as diligent as we should on our devotions and SOAP's. Can't look back, only forward and do differently. Wanting to become the best that God wants for our lives, we will be diving into the word and the daily read through everyday. Please watch her for blog posts about the daily SOAP.

Please be praying for Warren's Dad who during the Christmas break had to have surgery on his bad and just went back in for more surgery. We are praying for God's hand upon him and healing.

We are praying for provision over all of your lives this 2011, that you will be challenged to be tithers and offerers...that we will all, as a team, be challenged to be great stewards. The bible talks about tithing back in Genesis 14. Let's be spirit led givers--let's be disciples and impact our community and our nation for God.

Here are some scriptures about spirit led tithing.
Malachi 3:10- Bring all the tenth parts into the storehouse, that there may come to be food in my house; and test me out, please, in this respect,” Jehovah of armies has said, “whether I shall not open to YOU people the floodgates of the heavens and actually empty out upon YOU a blessing until there is no more want.

Luke 6:38- Practice giving, and people will give to YOU. They will pour into YOUR laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing. For with the measure that YOU are measuring out, they will measure out to YOU in return.”

2 Corinthians 8:12- For if the readiness is there first, it is especially acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what a person does not have

2 Corinthians 9:7- Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

We are being challenged by God to be faithful all the time givers... Are you being moved??

2011 Is here for the taking....

I was thinking about everyone I have talked to over the past couple of days and no one can believe that 20-11 is here already! Where did time go? What has happened? Don't blink because the next year will be here before we know it.

But something that Roger and God has really been challenging us to do, is DISCIPLESHIP!

Pastor Phil re-iterated that point in this weekends sermon with "The time is ALWAYS". Isn't that the truth, the time isn't NOW, it wasn't YESTERDAY, its ALWAYS. It's always--always time for sharing about God. Now when I talk to some people they are very nervous about talking to people about God, they are scared to be too "CHRISTIAN" to be in people's faces, to be a scary Christian who is turning people away from the church, away from God, but that's not the case. You don't have to be on a street corner, screaming and waving your bible around.

Talk to people, get to know them, what's going in their lives, what challenges or positives are they experiencing right now right here....ALWAYS. It's interesting to me how many people who are SEEKERS really just want to see and hear what God has done in someone's life. THE TIME IS ALWAYS....

Tonight had a conversation a good friend, this person made a comment that their circle of life right now doesn't really allow for discipleship, that this persons life is involved around church activities, bible studies, and people who are already christians or a part of a church....But I got to thinking think about all the places that you visit or experience in a week. Doctor's offices, schools, restaurants, Walmart, grocery stores, corner store, gas station, doctors offices, Facebook, email, old friends, family, and restaurants--and I am sure there are more places..... There are so many places to disciple...might not happen in a 5 min visit, but might after 5 weeks of 5 min visits.

THE TIME IS ALWAYS....

Just like our set-team....we have said since day one...everything we do with this team/small group is ALL FOR THE KINGDOM. That if one person comes to church just to see the set, that is all that matters, that is one soul who gets to hear the message of Jesus, the message of eternal life, and possibly saving one soul for the KINGdom. That is what matters its all worth it, if even for only one soul, one person, one seeker or believer.

SO THE TIME IS ALWAYS.....

I will close with point #4 from Phil today, Romans 11:29 -->

" for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. " What is God's gift on your life? What is God's calling on your life? Wether it be set team, greeting team, discipling, small groups, bible studies, maybe homeschool co-op, maybe talking to your favorite checker at Safeway about your church and your Jesus. Maybe its music, or crafting....whatever God's gift and call on your life, will never go away. The calling will always be on your life, but WHAT YOU DO WITH THAT GIFT or CALLING is your choice...I was challenged today to be sure that the gifts and talents that God has bestowed upon me is used to its maximum for the KINGdom of GOD.

God's blessing and grace upon you all this week! We can't wait to kick off this season and year 2011-of P4Square's Set and Stage Team!

Work takes more than one......

CityBlast 2010 was absolutely amazing...Impacting our community for the KINGdom!! What an amazing experience to be a part of! if you volunteered, prayed, attended the service and / or the evening show....everyone took a part that was a very important part of bring Christ to so many lives! Thank you to everyone for being part of someting so great!~

Devotion today....I want to share this with you all as it applies so well. None of us can do anything on our own and continue to do it well. I am extremely guilty of this and this reading today, really brought it all home--CityBlast never would have happened without MANY hands our sets never would happen without many hands....takes many hands to do God's work!

S:Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. "
"As you walk through life, remember that you're not supposed to do everything on your own. You need other people to walk alongside you, but you also need other people to work alongside you."
O:God put us on earth to do a certain work that only we can do. Ephesians says that God made us to do good works and that he planned in advance what we would live our lives doing. However, he didn't plan for us to do that work alone. We need people to work with us.
You know the feeling you get when you do too much work on your own. You get exhausted and burned out. Why? Because you're trying to do your work alone, while God never meant for you to go through life working alone.
God tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9 that "two people are better than one, because they get more done by working together" (NCV). When you work as a team, you get so much more done. Plus, having good teammates alongside you is a whole lot more fun and less tiring!
Picture this: Individually, each of us is like a snowflake; on our own, we can't make a big difference. However, when one fragile snowflake sticks together with a lot of other snowflakes, they can stop traffic. Like snowflakes, we can make a big difference if we work together, each one of us doing only our small part.
A: As I walk through life, God didn't attend me to do it alone. I need other people to walk alongside me, but I also need other people to work alongside me. As I share the burden of my work with fellow Christians, I will actually accomplish more for the glory of God.
P: Lord God, I ask your forgiveness for not being a good steward of what you are expecting out of us. That we should not work alone, that we should not tackle life alone. That you want us to partner with others and do your work. God, I have not done a good job of sharing the burdens of work in so many areas of my life. Please work within me to do so and to fullfill your wants for my life, so that I may share your word and promises with others.

Suiting Up

Scripture
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests." (Ephesians 6:13-18)
Observation
In sports and specifically football, it's called suiting up, where you would put on your shoulder pads, hip pads, knee pads and helmet in order to protect you when you come in heavy hitting contact with players on the opposing team. The point being that it wouldn't be if but when and how often you would come in contact with an opposing player and therefore protect yourself. It's all about protection in sports. However, in suiting up with the full armor of God, it goes far beyond in terms of suiting up in truth with honesty, righteousness in doing what is right, being ready and aware of good and evil, having faith in perseverance when facing challenges, remembering what Christ has done for us and therefore the Spirit that dwells within us to guide us; finally, the power of prayer. In life, we often suit up to protect ourselves, however, God suits us up to go beyond in winning the game and finishing the race as long as we are intentional on garnering and using the attributes that He offers us in truth, righteousness, readiness, faith, the Spirit and prayer. Suiting up in sports usually gives us a different appearance in our uniform and pads. Suiting up for God is a countenance of the Spirit of God that shines through us in our words, actions and peace that people will see in us.
Application
My desire is to remember and be diligent to suit up each day with God's word, prayer and an intentional plan to make God a part of my day in how I perceive things, process things and therefore respond. I want to protect myself for the hits that will come. More so, I want to suit up with the gifts God gives me to win the game and the race. When I suit up with the armor of God, I want people to clearly see that I am on God's team and that I can be an example running on the field of life toward to goal and end zone of finishing well.
PRAYER
Lord, I praise you and thank you for your Word that feeds me, teaches me, reminds me and armors me to do your will and be in your will; and also to win the race that I find myself in here in the world. May I be intentional in suiting up with the gifts from you that are mind for the receiving.

BE Two-Twelve

I got an email today that totally rocked my boat. BE Two-Twelve. As I dove into givemore.com I realized that they were selling some trademarked statements and ideas to challenge people.

They made an impact on me--that I just had to share on Facebook. The idea of 211 degrees F water is just hot, but at 212 degrees F water boils -- really took a hold.

The idea that boiling in all I do....discipleship, faith (differently as Chad discussed this week), family, life, work, in all we do....BE TWO-TWELVE, what a great concept!!

Yes they are selling the logo and design, but the idea and the impact can be heard all over the world. BE TWO-TWELVE!!

Being TWO-TWELVE is all over the Bible.....
Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, verily, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
Philippians 1:9-10 And this I pray, that your love may abound (i.e., excel) still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; 11 having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. I am so excited about this -- going to use it in my life, with my children, with our small group... in all we do!!

I am going to BE TWO-TWELVE!--And I challenge you to do the same!!

All in God's Time

Doesn't it seem as though when we think that we want something or need something, so many of us need it/want it now? We pray and we pray and we pray....but everything is in God's TIME.

God knows the timing of everything. He knows when, where, why, and how. But do we really understand that? We have had some miraculous things happen in our family this past year. With my Mother, a cousin, my job, Aaron's healing progression, financial provision in many around us lives, peace, and some close to us asking Jesus into their heart for the first time.

God is amazing, he is good ALL THE TIME.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end." God help me keep your timing.

It is hard as the human factor and the devil play a roll in our day to day lives to easily get discourage and lose track of what's important, of what matters. Living as God wants us to, be as much like him as we possibly can, being disciples to all around us in everything that we do-work, home, community, at the grocery store, everywhere-all the time.

I have so far to go. God is working on me by the minute and learning more and more about him through the church, women's devotions on Friday nights, and through the stage and set team with all of you. We are continuously learning about GOD through the team and continuously learning about ourselves. I have so far to go to really be as God wants me to be.

Please join the team not only by sharing your talents and skills in viewable results, but by sharing God with everyone that you know...and join us for team fellowship nights that are coming again soon. SOAP'ing together as we continue to grow in God's likeness.

I was thinking of Minnie Pearl today.........HE HAW! Don't know why, but was in my brain.

If you haven't heard I got this great new job at Gordon Trucking, (Pennie) and I am really enjoying myself. But I have to be honest, it hit me today, that I had gotten so complacent in my old job that I allowed the devil to knock me down through others so severly that I was no longer giving over 100% effort to my job. I allowed the devil to kick me down, make me feel unable to do my job, made me feel inadequate and second guess my skills and knowledge.

It took all I had to drive to work every day...mentally preparing myself...praying that God would just get me through. I was soooo wrong! I should have been totally using that situation to shine-to really impact that place for God's kingdom--to really be shooting the devil down and saying NO! I will combat this completely!

I am reading this book Leveraging your Leadership style....its written by a pastor--but oh so applicable in so many areas! It really made me think today.

Please read this excerpt....I thought it was really impactful....what situation are you allowing to control your every being...what rock and hard place are you in the midst of...do we all realize that we are leaders even if we don't hold a management job?? Are you leading with all you are and all God wants us to be??

So much to contemplate! To all of you we love being a part of this small group of growing and developing disciples....we love you all, read this and have a great week!

What Really Matters

In the end, the kind of car you drove won't matter one bit. Sure, it was comfortable, but whom did you invite in to sit? When your time is up, your big home will just be a pile of wood. It kept you safe, but did you invite as many in as you could? You might have dressed for success during your life,m but did you work on ending strife? You may have made a ton of moeny during your career, but did you love your children and dry every tear? I know you put in long hours into the night, but did you admit you were wrong during a fight? You accomplished great things and excelled past others, but were you a true friend to your brothers? Sure, climbing the corporate ladder was fun, but did you take the time with the Son? As leaders we have an obligations to live by example that God's love, grace, and mercy are ample. Make sure your deeds match your heart and that you finish all that you start. Help others each and every day, and show them the way. Love, give, and do your best. Then at the end, you will be able to rest.

We had a great night!! We missed everyone that couldn't make it, but hope that you will be able to make the next one!

Emily Bragg, 2nd year Ministry Institute student joined us and shared how to S.O.A.P. It was great. Lots of questions were answered about how to S.O.A.P. A quick summary:

Our team is committing this year to devotions and really digging into the word. We want to continue to build our discipleship and being in the word daily is going to get us all there together. Committing as a team to be in the word, in prayer, and discipling to those around us - those we know and those we don't. DISCIPLESHIP, on board with the WORD of the year. We will continue our fellowship nights monthly, right now the 2nd Tuesday of the month, dinner, devos as a group. We will also have our set builds....as soon as we have more scedule on that we will get it out to you!

God has great things in store for us this year -- and really impacting our Church, Community, People around us for the Kingdom of God! We love you guys.....we are committed!!

Merry Christmas

FAITH means.....
Belief and trust according to Webster....

What does FAITH mean to you? Pennie has been looking for a new job since January 4 of 2009. Of course we are aware that many are looking and still looking a lot longer than 12 months, but we decided as a family it was time for her to make a change.

October rolled around with a lot of non-responses from resumes and several interview attempts came up empty. Then an opportunity just showed itself without really being sought. After 3 months of interviewing and waiting and more interviewing and more waiting...Friday the 18th of December, an offer finally came through. Totally a God thing....pay increase to cover a good portion of what I am going to miss on disability , 10 min commute vs 2hours a day, and 2 weeks off with pay(week of Christmas and the week of New Years) because she is going to a competitor to PACCAR. What a bessing.

Back in October we decided to turn the situation completely over to God...no worrying only wondering....what a Blessing that has come through.

WOW! We have had some great fellowship and fun getting this set together. Definately taken more time than many of the sets, but been worth every moment. We have so enjoyed getting to know you all more throughout this project!

Thanksgiving week....

WOW what a week.

Aaron and I both have really been tested in our faith, this week. Several things this week have challenged us in ways that we weren't sure we could handle. We had the devil popping around all corners, but God led us through.

There were times when the devil was taking control....and we stepped back and prayed. There were times when the devil was in other forms....and again we stepped back and prayed. Straight from me.....it wasn't easy....and it never is. We waivered and then were brought back to God's reality....not this world's reality.

If you think of this as an "economic situation" rather than "God's economy" you will have issue, if you try to figure out the answers of whatever situation your in on your own, you will suffer.......God first always. Pray all the time-pray about everything. Get the buidling blocks of life in the right order.

Remember that when your struggling at the end of yourself, God is there.....remember the train of situtations.....Faith-Fact-Feeling, boy have we had to remember.

One last thing, Pastor Chad tonight nailed it on the head. Are you doing devotions and prayer daily?? If you need help getting started in devotions please let us know and we can help. God will move when you align.

Tithing--Aaron and I are testament....full faith, full hearted, GOD will move.

We love you guys...dig into the word this week....you will be amazed at the movement.

Christmas season is here.....

I always tell my kids that no Christmas decorating before Thanksgiving....but as I think about it today as we are buidling the Christmas set.....why not! We celebrate Jesus all year long...so why not decorate early and share the story! Save souls....spread the word...what Christmas is really about!

It is always fun and exciting to watch a set come together, but when your anticipating all the construction, painting, decorating.....and the finale...there is nothing like it.

Share the story and save a soul.....are you up to the challenge.

LEAP OF FAITH?? God working in my heart

Hope this post finds you all well. Aaron and I have been struggling with what's next for us? As most of you know Aaron has been struggling with his health and has been taking a medical time off to get well. It has been so good for him and for us as a family. His committment to doing what he needs to do with his treatment, but also being able to reconnect with our boys has been such a blessing.

Through all this I have been struggling with my past and things that happened with my Brother. He is now out of jail and doing very well. He has been through some tough spots the last couple of weeks, but has NOT returned to the drug and violent lifestyle that he has in the past. This is huge. I have struggled with hurt and anger during this time, over the past few months. I haven't really communicated with him or had our boys around him.

He is living with my Mother and he has minded my wishes and on Weds. when my Mother has our boys, Cory (brother) finds somewhere else to go or to work. Last Tuesday night he asked if I would meet him and my Mother for dinner. I agreed--God started to work in my heart. Over the next several days leading up to that dinner. God just spoke to me....let it all go start over start fresh....FORGIVE. Boy have I struggled with the forgiveness thing (as you probably saw in previous posts.)

SO I did...I loaded up Jaycob and Tyler and we drove to dinner in Fife with my Mother and Brother. My Mother didn't know I was coming let alone the kids, and Cory had no idea the kids were coming. We shocked everyone and It was a great night.

ALL I CAN SAY IS IT WAS A GOD THING.

We received and update from dear friends that are missionaries in Poland. Greg was my youth pastor when I lived in Germany. Great people. I thought I would share with you all--what God is doing 1/2 way around the world! OUR GOD IS ALMIGHTY AND ALL POWERFUL....read below....I loved this so wanted to share. --a little background H2O that they reference was prayed over for years before they were able to bid on the property--complete a God thing--and it just continues to get better....see below.

$600,000 Pledged to H2ORecently Greg received a call from Dave Patty."Greg, I'm on a road trip and I just received a call that someone has pledged $600,000 to H2O!" Thank you Lord for your provision!What does this mean? Well, it's time to put in windows, pour a new floor, and finish a good portion of the main building. H2O is opening next summer, 2010! Stand up, throw you hands in the air, jump and give thanks to the Lord.We estimate 11,190 hours of volunteer work has gone into this project over the last 3 years! Thank you for partnering with us through prayer, financial support, a listening ear, an encouraging spirit, arms with rolled up sleeves ready for work, and a desire to see Poland transformed through the next generation.We'll keep you posted.In Christ,Heidi for the Carlson family -->
Doubling our Fruit

Last month, 14 young leaders (pictured above) attended Josiah Venture's International Training Conference focusing on Discipleship - double from the previous year. God impressed something on each of our hearts to pass the baton on to others. We met yesterday to share how the first month back home went:
I returned to the basics of my faith. I repented from certain activities in my life. I lead meetings differently.
I shared the gospel with several people the week following the conference. I pray often for God to open the door to share my faith whenever I can: at a wedding reception, commuting to school, interacting with friends from school.
I am seldom out in the community because my office is in my home. I am praying and seeking for people & opportunities. I started a small group for our female leaders to encourage them and care for them.
I returned knowing I wanted my small group to serve our community, perhaps an orphanage. I prayed for a way to communicate this to my group without it being just my vision.
Over the last year I cross paths with and chatted with a woman in my neighborhood. Next week I'm going to her home for a meal.
The most challenging people in my life right now are the construction workers working on our house. I've tried so many things; I'm out of ideas.
Our leadership meetings are different. We now have a unified vision of ministry instead of event planning.
I realized I was so busy doing ministry that I was not growing. I am stepping back from some things in order to gain depth in my relationship with God.
My conversations with others are meant to be purposeful. I sense a difference when I meet others in town or talk with friends.
I want to meet 3 women in their homes during the week.
This was only half of the group. The other half are meeting in Wroclaw, located in western Poland. Our next follow up appointment is Nov 15th. -->

God's leading these 13 young leaders towards passing the baton of discipleship
Final details in hiring a contractor to start construction on H2O
Greg and I will take the written exam to get our Polish drivers license this month!

Fasting.....

Hey team! Hope this finds you all well. We are having a set-team meeting Tuesday night the 29th at 7:00pm in the church lobby. This is also auditions for Christmas program. This meeting will be short...want to share about Backstage pass and whats happening with everyone.

I would love to get some commenting going on the blog...as your fasting weeks come along and what you experieince during that time. Please feel free to share.

Tomieka had week 1 and said it went well. She goes in for back surgery in the morning. If anyone can help with meals...that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Contact Amy....253-691-8671 or Pennie 253-691-8461 to coordinate pick-up etc.

We are so thankful for a great team and what God is doing in everyone's life. I have heard somet great praise of our sets and stories of people who came because they heard about a set and had to see it, but decided to give their life to Christ. One other lady said it was the first time in YEARS that her mother had stepped foot in a church.

That is the purpose....RIGHT? That is what Aaron and I say all the time...we don't do this for us, for praise, for Foursquare.....nope .... we are doing this for the KINGDOM---for bringing souls to Christ. We hope your sharing this journey with us.

We know that set change is trying and difficult on family times, and can feel like they continue on forever.....but remember in your heart that we are doing God's work .... drawing people to him through our artistry and that makes it all worthwhile!

OUR CHURCH (P4SQUARE) Creative Arts department is teaming up between now and the end of the year. We are going to fast and pray one day a week till the end of the year. Here some background:

Here are some REASONS why Foursquare Arts is going to fast one day a week for the rest of the 2009 year. If you do not already know of the
power and importance of fasting, here are some very important facts:

WHY?
* Fasting was an expected discipline in both the Old and New Testament eras. For example, Moses fasted at least two recorded forty-
day periods. Jesus fasted 40 days and reminded His followers to fast, "when you fast," not if you fast.
* Fasting and prayer can restore the loss of the "first love" for your Lord and result in a more intimate relationship with Christ.
* Fasting is a biblical way to truly humble yourself in the sight of God (Psalm 35:13; Ezra 8:21). King David said, "I humble myself through fasting."
* Fasting enables the Holy Spirit to reveal your true spiritual condition, resulting in brokenness, repentance, and a transformed life.
*The Holy Spirit will quicken the Word of God in your heart and His truth will become more meaningful to you!
* Fasting can transform your prayer life into a richer and more personal experience.
* Fasting can result in a dynamic personal revival in your own Life-and make you a channel of revival to others.
* Fasting and prayer are the only disciplines that fulfill the requirements of II Chronicles 7:14.

WHAT?
Pray for worship at Foursquare and the life-changing power for God's presence.
Pray for the spirit of unity of our teams. The church unified is lethal church.
Pray for creative and innovative ways to reach the lost and build the church.
Pray for the nations

PRAYER FOR TODAY
1. Tomieka is going to be having another back surgery on the 28th @ 3pm, she will be Tacoma General and will be in the hospital for a few days. Please pray for her and this surgery. Recovery time for this surgery is 3-5 months, so if anyone can help out with meals, or other tasks…please let me know and we can coordinate. Would like to make sure our team has covered the first week with meals if we can. Be a great help to her and Pablo. Thank you!
2. Prayer for Amy & Jeremy Nelson please—they are in the middle of a hard season right now with Jeremy’s Father passing away (very young age 52) and some financial hurdles. Please pray for peace upon their family and that their faith will be stronger now than ever. That God will guide them through this season and give them the strength to put their faith before emotion.
3. Prayer for healing for Aaron. His Doctor has put him on a medical leave to try and get his treatment plan worked out and healing. Please pray for strength as he is going through this intense program and for wisdom in some tough decisions right now.
4. Please pray for Warren—it’s on my heart this week that he needs us all to rally around him Peggy in prayer.
5. And please put all the rest of the team on your prayer lists as well:

Summer----going, going, gone!

Hey there everyone!
Hope that you are blessed on this fine 2nd of September! We are surely blessed.

We spent a week in San Antonio, TX for a Psoriasis Foundation Leadership event. It was amazing to learn so much about a disease that is so debilitating. Our hearts just ached for the young children that were there and that were suffering from the same disease as Aaron in one form or another.

One more shared a story that she went to have lunch with her son a few days after he was diagnosed during lunch at the school. A little boy sat next to him and then his Mother walked over to sit with them as well. She noticed little Ben (7 years old) with Psoriasis patches covering one of his arms. She swooped up her son and moved him to the other side and said "I don't want my son to catch that". We heard these stories the entire time we were there.

This experience made us realize how our society lacks education in so many ways. Also really got us thinking about God's grace. How God says "Come as you are". What a blessing!!! What a magnificent God that we have.

A Walk Through Wisdome.----SET!!! Way to go Team!!

Hey there gang! Aaron and I can't thank you all enough! The wisdom set turned out amazing! There are no words to describe other than "WOW--God has done it again!" Our saying is that it is all for the kingdom. Our hope is that the sets will the hearts of those at services and even if it is only one soul that our set saves or helps save....then its all been worth it. Thank you for being a part of our team and our hearts we appreciate every single one of you for all that you do!

We do need your help! We would like to get a few more people on the team. It would be awesome if we could get a couple more for construction and for decorating so that we can not ware out everyone! So if we could set up a night one construction and a night 2 construction and then the decorating team.....that would be AWESOME! So talk to your friend, neighbors, family, etc...... we would love to have them. Send their information over! Please know that they don't have to be talented with tools or anything....if they are wanting to check out helping that would be awesome!

Thank you for being a part of a great thing.....visual worship....our hands do the work, but the outcome does even more!

hope that you all were able to hit CityBlast 2009. Our family had a great time there. The kids loved all the fun stuff, the shows, and the military dedication...and to top it all off....30 min of fireworks. AMAZING. GOD is good!

This week we are going to be changing the set over to..... BOOKS....you got it ...big huge books! We will be doing construction prep...if your avail this weekend and want to do construction with Aaron at the shop...give him a call 253.691.8465

hey team! We hope that you all have been able to be at the "Failing Forward" series. The set turned out AWESOME! And we have received tons of kudos for the team! Way to go!

Hey their friends!! Hope that this finds all of you well.
Warren and Peggy's grandson was born, Gabriel...congrats!!

Tomieka is healing well from her surgery. Praise God!

There are many others that are friends of ours and that attend P4Square that are really struggling right now. The one thing I shared with one of these is that if you don't speak out that you need agreement in prayer or that there are things that your family needs, then no one will be aware and able to help. We are praying for Van Arnam's right now for provision and peace over their lives...right now! We are praying for the Nelson family--and provision and peace over their lives as well. We are asking for prayer for Jeff as he was recently laid off. If you have a need or a want that you would like us to believe with you in prayer, please share.....the only way that we can all knock on the doors of heaven with you.

We have a prayer need please...As most of you know...Aaron has struggled with Psoriasis for quite sometime and the side effect: Psoriatic Arthritis has settled in one of his feet. We have tried about everything. We have decide to take a natural approach and will revist Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle on Tuesday. We are believing God for healing over Aaron's body.

Building blocks for solid lives---Forgiveness

Hey there. Its me Pennie....posting away.

Wow what a powerful weekend at P4Square. Did everyone see the statistics of the happenings? Check out Roger's Facebook for the latest.

It was definately powerful for me. Forgiveness is such hard thing as it is....but when you have a past of abuse both mental and sexual at the hands of your father for more years than you care to admit, forgiveness isn't an easy thing.

I thought I had already forgiven him and moved on, but I realized this Sunday, that the hurt is still there and I haven't totally forgiven--For me. I have some more praying and work to do ... God is moving mountains in my heart and in my life. So I thought I would share. I felt moved to go to the alter call....I wept and prayed...and during that time, nothing was there, but God and me...and a vision of me telling someone in person "I forgive you" to their face, but unable to see their face. I don't know what it all means, but God is working me through the understanding of it all....so for everyone reading this:

If there is something that your holding on to....really truly...start praying for God to move in your heart to come away from the pain and the hurt and forgive......thats where I am headed and almost there.....you can do it too.

So many wonderful comments this weekend team! We love you and thank you for all your hard work on this set...Easter and last week! Its really come together.

Aaron and I were really impacting with this weeks message. We just wanted to share with you all. I have been struggling with my job and if it is time to move on and Aaron with his health and really leaping by faith for both of us.

Roger's message just hit us both hard this weekend...like..."wake up and smell the coffee". Putting God at the foot of our lives...making him the #1 building block...we have strayed, but are back on track!

as Roger said today: "If you want to WALK on the water...you need to get out of the the BOAT!"
