Summer----going, going, gone!

Hey there everyone!
Hope that you are blessed on this fine 2nd of September! We are surely blessed.

We spent a week in San Antonio, TX for a Psoriasis Foundation Leadership event. It was amazing to learn so much about a disease that is so debilitating. Our hearts just ached for the young children that were there and that were suffering from the same disease as Aaron in one form or another.

One more shared a story that she went to have lunch with her son a few days after he was diagnosed during lunch at the school. A little boy sat next to him and then his Mother walked over to sit with them as well. She noticed little Ben (7 years old) with Psoriasis patches covering one of his arms. She swooped up her son and moved him to the other side and said "I don't want my son to catch that". We heard these stories the entire time we were there.

This experience made us realize how our society lacks education in so many ways. Also really got us thinking about God's grace. How God says "Come as you are". What a blessing!!! What a magnificent God that we have.
